Random things that I, a nerdy college dude, like, even though I'm too old for a lot of it. Some of my favorite things are Musicals, Superheroes, Dragons, and Phineas and Ferb. I also have another blog fyeahswords, about swords (duh). Unless otherwise stated, I most likely did not take any of the photos I blog here.

That's kind of funny considering "Reservoir Dogs" is rated highest on Rotten Tomatoes of any of his films. Even he says "Death Proof" is his worst, by far..

I’ve never seen Death Proof. It very well might be his worse film. But out of the Quentin Tarantino films that I’ve seen (Django Unchained, Pulp Fiction and Inglorious BasterdsReservoir Dogs definitely the worst. But it is tough competition considering that the other three films were Best Picture nominees.

BRAVE IS FUCKING PERFECT!!! JUST LOOK AT HER HAIR!! DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO ANIMATE HAIR LIKE THAT?!?!?!

First of all you are biased because you were obsessed with Brave long before it came out. Second of all, the animation of Brave is great; there’s no denying that. But the story of Wreck-It Ralph was more original and heart touching and all together entertaining than Brave.

You can agree to disagree, but I doubt Zero Dark Thirty will win anything, (referring to your Original Screenplay prediction) despite being a Best Picture nominee and having the critical support. There's too much controversy and at best, it's a contender for Best Actress (Chastain) - which thanks to Jennifer Lawrence (you predicted to win) is most likely to lose. 'Just saying'.

You very well might be right because like you say there is a lot of controversy surrounding it. However, it was also one of the most critically acclaimed films of the year, and before the controversy started, it was the number one prediction to win best picture, and many critics still say it deserves best picture. I feel that the academy is going to want to honor it in someway, and therefore it will get best screenplay. But to be honest, Original Screenplay was the category that I was the least sure about. Thank you for your opinion.

musicalsandmadness answered your question: Put a musical… Legally Blonde

I liked the movie, but I’ve only seen parts of the musical. I did like what I saw, even though it was a bit cheesy

Favorite song: Legally Blonde

Least favorite song: What You Want

Part I love to play: Emmett

thedeadendzone answered your question: Put a musical… Newsies

I think that it is one of the few modern musicals to have a classic feel to it, which I like.

My favorite song is a tie between  Seize the Day

I would want to be Davey because he sings in both Seize the Day and King of New York

Rent :)

It is amazing; defiantly one of my favorites. My favorite song: it’s hard to pick just one, but I guess I would have to say Rent. Least favorite song Goodbye Love; it’s too depressing and unnecessary. I would love to play Mark because I can relate to him the most because he’s kind of a nerd and that he’s more of an observer to the drama rather than a participant.

Young Frankenstein

It’s one of my favorite musicals. It is extremely funny. My favorite song is Life, Life. I hate Please Don’t Touch Me. I would love to play either Igor or the monster because they are just such funny characters.

my-shiny-teeth-n-me answered your question: Put a musical in my ask box… Next to Normal

I only saw an amateur production of it, but the cast was extremely talented and I loved it; I’m upset that I missed it on Broadway. My favorite song is I’m Alive; I don’t know why, but I just really like the tune of it. I don’t like It’s Gonna Be Good because I don’t like how Dan lies to himself. I would want to play Gabe because I love I’m Alive.

For Wicked

I think that is one of the most overrated shows. It was good, but not as amazing as it is made out to be. My favorite song is Defying Gravity, even though it is overused, because it is pretty good. I don’t like I’m Not That Girl because it is whinny. I would want to play Boq because he is a nerd/geek like me.

Les Mis'erables. How about something modern: "Wicked".

Les Mis: the show is great, the movie is amazing. I like Who Am I? because it shows how good of a man Valjean is. There isn’t one song that I particular dislike. I would love to play Thénardier, because he is the only comical character and his singing is not as important as his performance.

m4ybe1ju5tw4nt2fly-deactivated2 asked:

How about "Oklahoma"?

I really want to see that. I do like the song People Will Say We’re in Love, because I can relate to it.

m4ybe1ju5tw4nt2fly-deactivated2 asked:

West Side Story.

It’s not one of my favorite shows, but I do like it. I don’t believe in “love at first sight”, but the music is great and I do like the message. As for my favorite song, I would have to say it’s a tie between Maria and Gee, Officer Krupke. I like Maria because it’s such a sweet love ballad and I like Officer Krupke because it brings up serious points in a very humourus way. I don’t like I feel pretty because it is overplayed and not that interesting. I would want to play Action because he sings Officer Krupke.

The King & I

That’s one of the few musicals that I don’t know. I assume that I will like it because I usually like Rodgers & Hammerstein.
